Baby Goin' Home
In 2003, my second child arrived 5 weeks early. It was quite a surprise to us! Thankfully, a dear friend from La Leche League snatched up some preemie clothing and delivered it so that we could bring the baby home with more than just a diaper and a blanket.
In 2009, I decided it was time to give back. Baby Goin' Home is a FREE program for any parent of a preemie, regardless of income. A typical package contains a few onesies or side snap T-shirts, pants, a sleeper, a day outfit, a blanket, hats, mittens, and booties. It's just enough to get you through the early weeks and enable you to dress baby warmly so that you might be able to find more clothing if you need it.
Baby Goin' Home has helped several families bring home their baby and we hope to continue to help others in the future. However, since this program is free of charge, we would appreciate any donations of preemie clothing, new or gently used, or a monetary donation. Even the smallest contribution is much appreciated.
